About Us

The Reno Bulldog Club was founded in 2009. We are a non-profit organization whose members range from professional bulldog breeders to owners of pets. Anyone who owns a bulldog and loves the breed are welcome. We meet monthly in Reno, NV and are governed by the members under leadership of the Club Officer and Executive Board. We are a specialty club, which means the only dogs involved in our activities are bulldogs, as defined BCA and AKC. The club is dedicated to the betterment of the Bulldog breed, a dog of noble stature. The activities of the club are designed to be of interest to breeders, dog show enthusiasts, pet owners and all others interested in the breed. By participating in local, regional and national programs, the club supports activities to improve the breed through research and sound breeding practices. The club aims to educate owners, breeders, as well as the general public on the uniqueness and overall concerns of our breed. Reno Bulldog Club also maintains a close relationship with Sierra Nevada Bulldog Rescue, who place rescue bulldogs into loving adoptive homes.

The Reno Bulldog Club does not sell dogs or advertise puppies for sale. If you are interested in purchasing a bulldog, please first review the information in our Education section of the web site. For further assistance through our Breeder Referral Program, please use the Breeder Referral section of this web site. RBC is not affiliated with and does not license or endorse any breeder, including those listed in our breeder referral. Reno Bulldog Club has no control over their business practices and is not liable for any dealings between you and any breeder; we accept no responsibility for any transaction between seller and buyer. RBC does not sell dogs and makes no warranty or guarantee as to the health, quality, parentage, or any value of any dog. This breeder referral service is only provided to benefit the public.

The Reno Bulldog Club is in the process of becoming members of The Bulldog Club of America and The American Kennel Club. Once our requirements have been met and we have been approved, we will conduct sanctioned matches and specialty shows under the rules of the American Kennel Club.

We welcome you to become a member of the Reno Bulldog Club to join the fun and help us promote the betterment of the bulldog breed.
